Weekend Update: Saturday

Hirschfield Film: Good Morning, Night
This mystery thriller should be a welcome addition to a leisurely Saturday. Watch as a girl mixes it up with an Italian terrorist group. Yay terror!

Date: Saturday, November 4th, 2006
Time: 3PM and 8PM
Venue: Dana Auditorium

Beth Thompson Kaiser in Concert
Beth, best known for being the voice teacher of about half of the students that sing on campus, is having a concert chronicling American song through the ages. Should be fun even if you're not one of her students. She has a heck of a voice so lend her your ear (or ears).

Date: Saturday, November 4th, 2006
Time: 8PM
Venue: CFA Concert Hall

Bobolinks + Amalgamates = Woah
The Bobos are hosting the Tufts Amalgamates, a well known and acoustically sound group. Go check 'em out even if you're not an acappella connoisseur like Jaime Lam ('09) or Rohan Maitra ('09). Plus the Bobos are fun too. They promise to get you to Tim Young before 9PM.

Date: Saturday, November 4th, 2006
Time: 8PM
Venue: Pearsons Lounge

MCAB: Tim Young, Comedian
Flying in from Wisconsin, Young should have some good material for the Middlebury audience. He's been on "Last Comic Standing" and basically works the college circuit pretty hard. Plus, MiddKids always come out of comedians. Could be sold out, if you're not careful. One show only. Tickets in dining halls.

Date: Saturday, November 4th, 2006
Time: 9PM
Venue: McCullough Social Space

Somehow the "Events at Middlebury" table-top calendar doesn't hack it. Weekend Update provides you with the latest and greatest events at Midd in the 96 hours starting Thursday and ending Sunday. Think we're missing something? Tip us off: middblog [at] gmail [dot] com.
