Whenever I go to the dining halls for lunch, I search deserately for a New York Times to read but alas, clever students have already taken them all back to their dorm rooms! So I guess it works out even better that the NYTimes has announced a free access to TimesSelect (premium website for special content and Times archives) for college students (or anyone with a .edu email address).

If that doesn't float your boat, the New York Times comes in to dining halls around 9:30-10:00AM. You conservatives can get the Wall Street Journal on occasion at the mail center. You'd be surprised just how many graduated or abroad students still have subscriptions which are free to pick up (if available) at the package window.
