Weekend Update: Sat, Feb 17

MiddBlog may have failed you yesterday, but we were down due to inclement weather. Here's the Saturday breakdown:

Relay for Life Kickoff #2
As if you missed it the first time, Relay is the largest single event on campus. This meeting is for team captains. Start a team, raise money, and run to fight cancer.

Time: 2-4PM
Venue: McCullough Hall

Men's Basketball vs. Colby (First-Round)
This is the first NESCAC Tournament game to be held at Middlebury. Go support the Panthers in this historic game. 1$ tickets at door.

Time: 2PM
Venue: Pepin Gym

Hirschfield Film: Capote
Based on the creepy book and real events, this movie is an amazing indie film that keeps you uncomfortable all the time. Give Infamous a try too.

Time: 3PM and 8PM
Venue: Dana Auditorium

Women's Hockey vs. Hamilton

Time: 4PM
Venue: Kenyon Arena

Mischords with Fordham Ramblers
This gig is unconfirmed but a little acappella on a Saturday night can't hurt, right?

Time: 8PM
Venue: Chateau Grand Salon

MiddAmnesty: Mardi Gras
Get your swing on with a live New Orleans jazz band (plus the Butch Divas). $5 donations go to benefit Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans. Get some beads and stuff too. Come dressed up!

Time: 9PM-12AM
Venue: McCullough Social Space

Biggest Lunar New Year Ever!
The newly formed Chinese club hits the ground running by organizing a multi-club party. First, fill up on food in Coffrin Lounge then head over for the LoFo dance party sponsored by KoreaTown. MASO and J-Club are pitching in on the food-making!

Time: 9PM-12AM
Venue: Coffrin / Lower Forest

Eski-hoes and Their Bros
Not sure if you really should go to this one but I know many of you will... tagline: "it's like winter but slutty."

Time: 9:30PM - 6AM
Venue: Peary Mod

Casa Italiana
The Italian House is hosting a party. They say, "take off your clothes and come join the mess!"

Time: 10PM-3AM
Venue: Italian House
